(just like Marco A. Barrera's stamina was ruined in '03, when he came down to ground level from Big Bear-CA , to early from high altitude, before he fought Pac in 2003, which is why MAB lost to Pac, cause he left high-altitude training too soon)

Many trainers and fighters dont know this, but when a fighter goes in high-altitude training , they're suppposed to come down to sea/ground level only ONCE, and at the right time.
Usually its supposed to be on the day of the fight, but for others it should be a few days before the fight, so that the body's lungs get accostumed to the air. It all depends on a fighters' metabolism. lung capaicty, etc.

Delahoya got this idea to mess with Margarito's stamina (of making him leave high-altitude training prematurely), from when a similar thing happened to his then fighter-Marco A. Barrera in 2003, when Barrera was training in high-altirude in Big Bear-CA, getting ready to fight Pac in '03 in in San Antonio.

when MAB was gonna fight Pac in 2003, Barrera had recently left his manager-Ricardo Maldonado and former promoter-Forum Boxing, to go with Delahoya's new Golden Boy Promotions, Inc. company.

Maldonado was angry and got back at Barrera, by waiting 2-3 weeks before MAB fought Pac , to publicly disclose MAB's metal plate in his head, and then the texas commission (at Pac's TEAM request), made MAB leave high altitude to go to Texas for medical clearance approval.
This premature leaving high-altitude training is the reason Barrera's stamina was depleted before the fight, and why he tired quickly during the Pac fight in '03.

Now, Delahoya is pulling the same dirty trick that was played on his fighter-Barrera in '03, but this time on Margarito, by making Margarito leave high-altitide training to early, which will ruin Margarito's oxygen/blood cells mixture/ratio , and make Margarito fatigue early in the fight with Cotto.

looks like Cotto will win this fight, cause Margarito's stamina has been tampered by Delahoya.

 

If Margarito had been training at sea level/ground level like Oxnard, CA or anywhere else at ground level, and flew to NY 2 weeks before the fight, then it would be no big deal, but because he was in high altitude (about 8,000-10,000 above sea level) in the Otomi Mountains, and came down 2 weeks before the fight, he's stamina will be affected on the 2nd week-,,,the week of the fight.

If Margarito wouldve fought Cotto this past Sat (Nov 27th), Margarito would be fresh and strong, but 1 week later to Dec. 3, the oxygen cells in Margarito's blood will deplete, and his stamina will be affected.
