First time Greb fought a decent blk fighter he got his eye thumbed out, second time he got retired, you know what it is burt :yep

Hopkins would of headbutted and lowblowed the none blind eye out of Greb

You certainly have to pop him into the top 10 middleweights of all time, and X has a good argument for being rated in the Top 5 (there were some decent scalps taken during his reign, and they were generally taken in impressive fashion). But the era he dominated was pretty lacklustre, and that prevents from from being rated much higher than that.

And Especially (1) Jameel McCline and (2) d fact that his stoppage wins were not only clean from any crime but even (3) unintentional as he usually carried his opponents (4) and of course never even went down (5) let alone stopped .

All of d above is in regards 2 his h2h ranking of course , not p4p .
Surely if u gain enough fat u go in there and beat his ass since u know boxing so well and he is such a bum , so y won't u call him out and offer him a 90-10 because after all you'll make such n easy work of him u will even have enough left 2 stop d corpses of Tua & McCall , won't u ?

Wouldnt you have to have Hopkins behind Roy Jones Jr, under any criteria?

It really would be like rating Foreman over Ali, or Ali over Frazier or liston over Ali etc. Roys performance was just to dominating for Bernard to really overcome it, without special circumstances.

Subjective, Hopkins longevity has alot to do with his technical proficiency. I'm not prepared to give Greb the edge in terms of talent

Fair enough, but do you put more stock in guys who stick around 1 division for the majority of their careers or do you give more points to those who move up in weight?

Fair enough, but Hopkins was considered the man after dismatling Tito Trinidad in 2001 thereby adding legitimacy to his claim as champion.

Indeed he did. But Hopkins only edge over SRR was that he took the title from Tarver at 175 whereas Robinson lost to Maxim.

I think Hopkins was more skilled than Hagler. Personally I rate Hopkins abover Hagler.
