Rios vs Murray is a dangerous fight for the wrong reasons.

Again I think we all agree with you, it's hard to see how Murray can win this fight. And it does seem a bit unfair to put him in a fight like this at only 26 and straight off the back of his first proper test and defeat.

But whether he can come back from this will be entirely down to what John Murray really has in him and whether he was ever good enough in the first place.

Stylistically it does look a bad fight for him and appears a mismatch but sometimes you just never know.

 

Joe Gallagher said once that Murray isn't a big lightweight..

 

Prediction:

Rios by decapitation.

Are both bigger mismatches.Rios will beat him but the way some people talk you imagine Rios to be some sort of unbeatable monster.

 

I think its more that Murray has no right to be there after Mitchell beat him.

 

How many Champions face undeserving guys though?Happens every week.Wasnt long ago that most here said he would beat Mitchell.One loss and hes written off as being lucky to survive a round against this killing machine.

I see this going in a similar way as the Mitchell vs Murray match.... Rios will win, but Rios is overrated.

 

this, unless Murray is tough enough to last a long while through the fight, he will not recieve a prolonged beating anyways.

 

murray will use the jab but marquez wont be able to have good patients so he will fight hard n strong and probably win on points and throw in the towel

 

as much as i like john he hasnt made the improvements to succeed at world level. No head movement and a poor jab
