I think Rios is in for a tough night, i rewatched the antillion fight and i think murrays stiff jab and tight guard will give rios problems for the first 4 rounds, people talk about how open murrays guard is, rios cant defend himself well either, i think if murray can take allot out of rios early the next 8 rounds will be telling, Murrays the type of fighter who needs to be worn down, i think rios will loose allot of steam from the big body shots murray will dish out early in the fight and then he'll have slowly faded somewhere in the middle rounds. His punches wont have as much sting.
if i'm completly off you can bump this and rip me, but i'm pretty sure i know the story to this one.

How is Murray going to gain Rios's respect? Rios will walk through anything Murray throws, his power is average at best, Rios will stop him after roughing him up around the 5th round for me.

Not a ****ing chance, Rios has beaten far better boxers than Murray, one sided knockout loss within four round for Murray id say.

Some sections of the British print media are talking some **** about this fight too i.e all this bollocks about Murray looks focused or is in good shape and he could do it blah blah....

It doesnt matter, he is out of his league. It is similar to the shite that they were saying about Barker v Martinez - 'oh Darren looks really confident, he really believes he can do it and dont write him off'. What foolhardy crap, just because it is a British fighter in a world title fight.

This is why I like Colin Hart, because for as long as I have been reading his stuff, he just calls it how he sees it and doesnt entertain deluded upbeat sentiment, just because there it is a British fighter.

I think this is one thing and one thing only £££££, Murray has none of it and is on his arse, this will be a pretty big pay day for his standards of paydays, I mean lets not forget for the first half of his camp he wasn't even training with Gallagher.

Murray is a poor mans Rios. He's made to order.

I'm not a fan of Rios, but he's a little animal on the inside, knows his identity and stays in his lane. He eats styles like Murray up. A mover is gonna give Rios problems. Murray comes through the front door too often.

  11. Agreed...

Just wondering if Murray has a better chance entering through Rios back door?

Of course it is for the big payday, I dont blame him. But, these guys who write about boxing in the paper need to stop cheerleading and just print the it as it is. I miss reading George Kimball's columns.

TBH John's already kinda admitted he can't beat him at his own game in the Boxantion interview. Talking about using his skills and moving on outside take some rounds and then go to work. Personally he's regressed as a fighter in last 4 years sadly but i expect him to be brave and willing and give his best. It will be exciting and he will land some shots on Rios sadly he's not going to hurt him because he doesn't carry the power to.
