Floyd can use any promotional company he trusts and Pacquiao can use which ever promotional company he trusts.

I can understand why Floyd would want to hire GBP since they've been real good to him and have been a great business partner with strong legal backing and experience in business dealings.

I also understand why Floyd doesn't trust Top Rank...FFS, they are ****ing over Pacquiao big time!! So I see why Floyd doesn't want them to be the sole promoter. **** that! He isn't the smartest fighter around, but he's a hell of a lot smarter than Pacquiao to get ****ed in the ass again by Bob Arum....Arum burned him big time, and Arum burned Oscar, and many other fighters, so if a fighter says they want their own legal team and promotiona team involved if Arum is involved who the **** is anyone to say he is being unreasonable..

The only side being unreasonable here is Pacquiao's team which includes Arum.

Anyone who says different needs to get their head out their ass, and wipe off Pacquiao's and Arum's cum off their face ffs!!!!

Let's not forget that top rank was also the company that set things up for Juan to get robbed recently. I wouldn't trust them either

GBP is clearly has no business in the PAC-Floyd fight. Floyd is not their boxer. Floyd not legally tied up with GBP to promote his fights.

Potential investors approached Arum and Floyd directly. They never approached GBP since they knew GBP has nothing to do with this fight.

Unless Floyd specifically says he wants GBP to represent him in this fight. Did Floyd said he wants GBP to represent him? (i missed that news, link pls.).

Floyd isnt a gbp fighter though, so why include them and force to pay them money, floyd in combination with tr will do just fine.
Arum wants to shut out his main rival, and why do you guys care? floyd still gets to face pac, the fight still does millions with a lot of interest even without gbp.

This is a straight duck move being set up by Arum. He will say that Floyd turned down a deal that was out of this world and that they are moving on to Marquez.

Yes. Congrats, you've oncovered the mystery. Arum did ALL this, as nothing but a ploy to the media. Fake quotes, fake meetings, all of it was pretend.

GBP contacted Top Rank on behalf of Mayweather to begin negotiations just a week or so ago and Top Rank turned them away.

Leonard Ellerbe, one of Mayweather's advisors, and Golden Boy Promotions CEO Richard Schaefer both told ESPN.com Monday that they were notified that Pacquiao promoter Bob Arum of Top Rank was not interested in coming to the table.

"We have been informed that Bob Arum is not interested in pursuing a fight between Mayweather and Pacquiao at this time," Schaefer said.

"I am sick and tired of Bob Arum twisting the truth. It's another case of 'yesterday I was lying, today I'm telling the truth,' " Schaefer said, invoking Arum's most famous quote. "The truth of the matter is that we received this afternoon an email from retired federal judge Daniel Weinstein, who has informed us that Top Rank is pursuing a rematch with Marquez and, therefore, is not interested in immediate talks for a possible Mayweather-Pacquiao fight. This is obviously as clear as it can be that they have no intentions of making a Mayweather-Pacquiao fight. Therefore, Floyd Mayweather will have no other choice than to move on and identify and lock in another opponent for his ring return on May 5."

The fight is huge probably too big for Floyd to co-promote it himself with Mayweather promotions and considering the other half of the promotion would invole Bob Arum and Top Rank he probably needs GB as a security measure.

I'm amazed at how so many people defend Arum and Pacquiao's bull**** and ducking.

Floyd has every right to choose who he wants protecting his best interest..

My question is why doesn't Arum step aside like GBP did with Marquez and Mosley. Because he is the biggest **** in boxing and would **** his own mom in the ass to make a dollar...Pacquiao is dumb.
