(VIDEO) Mayweather supports Black Fighters Broner, Ward, Petersons, etc Speaks on PAC

I don't think their is anything wrong with it but lots of people do, and when it comes to America there will always be those tensions between black and white and what is ok for people to say and support. I have to say it is rare for me to see a white person come on(unless they are an open racist) and flat out say they support their white american fighters first...and if they ever do they get a huge amount of backlash and are accused of racism, where as it seems to be more excepting for a black person to flat say they support black fighters(which I have to say is not very fair). Thats why when Floyd or another Black american fighter says these things, you get people quickly coming in and calling them racist cause they feel thats what would happen if the roles were reversed....or atleat that what I think it is, Im not white so I can't say for sure.

 

The Mayweathers do seem to have some racism/bias against other races in them, Roger especially comes across that way in some of his interviews. He is the one who spends the most time with Floyd, not surprising Floyd has similar beliefs. Who really cares, just their opinions. They live in a free country, they can be racist if they want as long as they're not inciting racial hatred.

 

White people can support Irish, Ukranian, Russian, English fighters no problem. Its when they exclusively support white fighters from any nation that they become suspect.

 

Floyd is sooo ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ...

there's a way, if you're black, to state that you support blacks who operate in your profession and in general without sounding racist, but floyd is so incredibly crude coupled with not giving a **** that he'll never be able to master that skill, not to mention he's actually made blatantly racist comments before.

 

slavery wasn't fair. the reverberations of slavery in america aren't fair. it's more accepted when black people say it because black americans were actually institutionally oppressed up until a little over 50 years ago, not a long time at all. a black person supporting black people first doesn't unearth a history of systematic racial hatred toward any race, but a white american person saying they support members of their race in any field first, recalls a dark period in american history.

 

They are truly the Platos and Aristotles of our time.

 

It's a shame that so many of pacs fans didn't jump on board until after DLH. he was a great fighter before that, but I think Cotto was his last true test since JMM2 until JMM 3.

 

What's new. he is just a typical Black.
