Why is haye still ranked? He is retired until he fights again, or at least signs a contract

    Welterweight seems strange.

Not sure what criteria you use but Marquez has had 2 fights at 147 in 2 years & lost them both?

He lost to the best fighter in the division in the same way every other fighter below him did. He did a better job agaisnt the 2nd best fighter in the division that anyone below him.....infact he probably won that fight.

I've give up on rankings to be honest. No offence but they mean **** all and it's all completely biased, whether it's deliberate or not.

Nobody boxers often enough for any ratings to be accurate or fair.

because you make it up as you go along.

Haye has officially retired and some one points that out but you respond with

No he isn't. Nothing has been confirmed officially, all he's doing is looking over contracts.

and how the hell you can have Marquez ranked 3rd a 147 when he's lost both fights but you are ranking him because he lost to the two best fighters in the division!!! that is complete bollocks!!

And another thing you've totally removed him from the 135 rankings when he is still the WBA/WBO/Ring champion - he has been stripped and he hasn't given the titles up either.

It's not that black and white. If you want rankings based purely on official outcomes use Boxrec.

I don't use their's either as its calculated on points and is quite frankly a joke also.

I want to know the criteria that Rob is using because its clear he is making it up as he goes along.

Theres no making it up as I go along. I have been doing these for 3 years.

The criteria is peoples opinions. I give a rough outline and people jump in with there thoughts and it gets moved around based on that. Thats the best way of doing it.

Go through the rankings and tell me what you think is wrong. It will be the case of people agreeing with you, or your opinion is different to the majority.

In terms of biast, i go out of my way to not let that happen. fighters from the UK are generally ranked lower than they are by the ring and other websites.
