Haye said he would retired but is activley pursuing a fight so he goes back in. I don't get wht that freaks you out so much. How is it bollox. Just because a fighter has lost doesn't mean they deserve to drop significantly, especially when one of those fights was extremly close. Losing a controversial decision to the number 2 fighter is better than anything else another fighter has done in the division recently other than Mayweather and Manny. Marquez has not had a fight at Lightweight for over a year and his last fight was in that division. If someone hasnt had a fight in a division for a year they can't be ranked there. Ask me specific questions about rules I use and I can tell you.
Talking of rankings I just noticed BoxRec have Chad Dawson at #1 for light heavyweight and #5 p4p. Seemingly based on his 2nd round demolition of Hopkins :rofl
You want Alexander who has all major fights for 4 years at 140, hasnt had a fight at 147 to be there but Marquez who has had fights for belts at 147 to not be ranked. that makes no sense.
right get Marquez out at number 3 from 147 and back in as champion at 135, Pac at number 1 and Mayweather in at 2nd. there is also a strong case for Bute to be number 3 and Kessler number 4.
Does Pac take a dip in the rankings based on his recent defeat? Mayweather has a case for being ahead at 147.
that is nonsense, Marquez is still, officially, the champion at 135 until he is stripped of the title.
He hasn't fought at 135 in over a year, and thus can't be ranked there at all, never mind as the #1. That's the criteria that everybody follows in a rankings system. By the way Rob, at super bantam, Victor Terrazas beat Fernando Montiel a couple of weeks ago.:good
Stripped of what title??? the belts mean nothing in regards to these rankings. He hasnt defended his lighweight title for over a year so he gets stripped and you cant be ranked in 2 divisions.
of course. had updated that on my spreadsheet. ok few changes at SBW and Cordobba has been inactive to. btw British rankings should be done tomorow.
