KINGPIN is a Free Agent

Discussion in 'World Boxing Forum' started by BoxingInsider, Dec 1, 2011.

  1. As of Today, December 1, 2011 we, at TEAM KINGPIN, do not have to deal with Joe Deguardia and Star Boxing anymore. Kevin "THE KINGPIN" Johnson is officially a Free Agent.

First order of business for us is fighting Michael Grant for the WBF Heavyweight Title....!!!

We have had serious negotitations with Michael Grant, and it looks like both fighters will get one (1) tune-up fight before the WBF match...!!!

Good fight. Kevin Johnson should start fighting more often, he's been very inactive since his loss to Vitali.

  9. You should have seen the ****-list Star Boxing had contacted to fight KINGPIN...!!! And yes, KINGPIN is gonna fight atleast 4 times in 2012, possibly up to 8 times, if all goes according to plans.

Don't have to be a pro boxer to dislike safety pin.

I would guess that the style and tactics he used against Vitali has hurt his chances of securing more big fights since then, especially with big up coming prospects. I could imagine a lot looking at the option of facing Kingpin and saying to themselves "what the hell do I need him for", which is harsh but part of the business.
