No way you can judge power on sight. I was once watching a kid hit the bag in the gym, he was very sharp and fast and looked like he hit very hard so I was a little nervous before we sparred, and it turned out he was a bit feather fisted for his size and nothing to be concerned about.

So no, you cannot judge accurately, power, by sight.

Arguing who hit harder between Foreman and Wlad is a waste of time as both have that rare gift of one punch "out cold" KO power in their best punches at any given time. Overall, Foreman loaded up more and swung for the fences, while Wlad is much more quicker, busier, and accurate. However when they go for broke, it doesn't matter, you are going down and if you get up you probably aren't going to be able to continue.

You know making a big deal of Wlad not KOing an ex-Cruiser while trumping Foreman's stoppage of a former LHW....while ignoring important factors like Moorer standing in front of Foreman while Haye fought Wlad from his bicycle. Using the Haye fight to measure Wlad's power would be like using Tommy Morrison to measure Foreman's. You are either a really stupid, casual fan or just a hater reaching unsuccessfully to form a biased conclusion.

You watch the effect the punches have on the opponents (with eyesight). That's the most telling factor. Even the punches that don't land flush.
