Subscribing to Boxnation?

I havent got a landline connected either. Apparently you need to put the number in the field you gave sky when signing up to sky...so for me my mobile number.

 

According to their facebook page they accept debit cards but not Maestro. They try and blame it on Maestro:

"We actually accept all credit and debit cards - apart from Maestro, which doesn't support recurring payments. This is actually a limitation of the Maestro system, rather than ours - so it's not something we will be able to fix."

So a limitation of the Maestro system, someone had better tell those poor *******s over at lovefilm, they seem to have no problem with taking money out of my account every month.
If boxnation had just used Paypal this would not have been a ****ing problem.

The shame is this looks like the best weekend of fights of the year, and I'll only see Sturm vs Murray. I suppose I'll just have to watch the ufc on FX then. Say what you want about them but they always go out of there way to make it easy to see one of there shows.

 

Perhaps Lovefilm have a DD set up? Boxnation don't use DD, they take a new card payment every month.

A DD would have nothing to do with what debit card you have, a recurring card payment does have limitations that DD's don't.

 

Perhaps, but I signed up to lovefilm online and the only details they received from me were the Maestro. Boxnation do not accept DD, Maestro, or PayPal, the only payment methods I currently have at my disposal.

The sad thing is I want to subscribe there just the sort of dedicated boxing channel I have always wanted, but they just won't take my money.

 

Following on from my last post, I have subscribed today. Im with Sky and had concerns regarding pay wizzard however my mind was put to rest when i spoke with a chap from customer service. Its all safe however you have to pay for atleast 6 months and you get a month free or something like that, your contract will then just continue untill you decide to cancel it.

they said big names will be shown and this will eventually take over many other channells for quality boxing. (obviously they will say this to get you on board, but if they fail to live up to expectations it can always be cancelled without no fee)

I love boxing its the only sport i follow so for that reason alone im willing to pay a tenner a month it aint that bad afterall.

be it a nobody fighting or pacman fighting boxing is boxing!

Thought i'd tape Bunces boxing hour today, just tried to watch it and all i got was the boxnation logo for an hour.

A match made in hell, the rank amateurs that are boxnation and the useless cretins that are virgin media.
