The Margarito fight is the last fight on Cotto's contract with TR?

 

Very believable since it's well known that Floyd people were discussing a Cotto fight for the 9/17 date, and both sides have a great respect for one another.

With Arum about to lose 2 of his biggest ponds, I can't wait to see how things turn out in the GBP vs TR ongoing fight

I doubt Margarito leaves, for goodness sake Margarito owes Arum for getting back his career, but Cotto on the other hand never really gave a **** about Arum, even almost ruined 2morrow's upcoming match

Of course its a load of ****. Arum clearly indicated that he doesnt want it, so its not going to happen. However Mayweather- Cotto (if Cotto wins) on May 5th would be great. IMO the second best thing besides May-Pac

I don't even have the energy to entertain the Pac bull****, anybody with a brain knew Manny was lying through his teeth, why does he always go to the Philippians to release his propaganda, instead of facing unbiased American reporters, it's because he knows they will grill his ass like none other. I'm starting to truly believe Manny fears Mayweather for whatever reason, the video released after the Ortiz fight with Ariza basically trying to convince Manny that Mayweather wasn't that good anymore and that he doesn't hit hard proved that to me IMO, but people here and in the Philippians keep asking about Floyd so he has to save face somehow, but Manny has to realize he's only making himself look worse and worse, I was always a fan of his who wouldn't be, but the snowball has been rolling downhill rapidly since the JMM fight, and I'm starting to see that chump in a new light

So then what was the deal with all the Arum talk about matching Cotto with Baby Chavez?

That would be a dumb fight to take on Cotto's part. Especially considering the the fights that could be made @ 147lbs.

Miguel needs to get the hell away from Arum with the quickness.

 

That's one of the fights Arum will obviously try to use to entice Cotto into re-signing. I doubt it works though; I think if Cotto doesn't get a Pacquiao rematch he's gone.
