The crowd was singing... there's only ooooonneee... Martin Murray... earlier at the broadcast. So lots of Brits in there
Big reason I can't leave ESB, RBR from IB! Appreciate it dude, at work now and can't catch the fight! :thumbsup IB = Godsend :yep
Round 1 Jabs to the chest by Sturm. Murray drops in some right hands. Both circling at mid-range, going counter-clockwise with Sturm dictating the pace. Murray is dropping in jabs and right hands in a trickle of twos and threes but hitting that high guard. Sturm is content to block until he sees an opening to jab the chest and land. Murray is ten times more active, and Sturm ten times more accurate. Good 1-2 by Sturm. Grazing hook on the inside by Murray, just brushing past the back of Sturm's high guard. Body shot by Sturm. Murray leads with a hooking right hand and gets blocked. Triple jab by Murray, rising from belly to head but all getting blocked. Chopping 1-2 by Sturm coming forward. One more big right hand. 10-9 Sturm
I don't like Sturm.. hope he loses. But he boxes like a disciplined machine. Hard to outbox Sturm really. Murray basically has to knock him out sooner or later, I don't think he can outbox him.
Round 2 Sturm takes the lead early, doubling and tripling his jab into Murray's guard. Murray is poking out jabs to feel out open spots and trying to drop right hands to the body. Sturm is lowering his elbows too quickly for them to land. Sturm blocks six jabs without even the hint of thinking about throwing, only to quickly fire and land one when Murray ceases to relax and rethink his attack. Sturm uses some crossover footwork and Murray keeps up with him as they whirl and jab. Nobody is landing. Murray's jabs are falling short. Sturm is jabbing the body. Now some weird left uppercuts by Sturm from too far away. Scooping right hand to the body from outside by Sturm. Murray misses some sloppy arm punches up over Sturm's head as the champion ducks in a bit. Body shots from Sturm, pretty heavy. Murray gives him a grin. More body shots by Sturm. Murray comes forward and walks onto a jab to the chest. Sturm backs up to the ropes and covers up as Murray has several jabs blocked. Left hook to the body by Sturm, and now a left hook to the face as he fights his way off the ropes and backs Murray up. 20-18 Sturm
Uh, I guess, maybe? WTF do you want, I'm a little busy here and that has nothing to do with what's going on here. Go away.
Round 3 Hard jabs by Sturm coming forward. Right hands to the body. Murray is backing up, pawing jabs. Peekaboo from Murray, between soft jabs. Hard jabs up top and hooks at pectoral level by Sturm. Jim Watt is insisting that Murray is evenly matched and keeping pace with Sturm, but really he's getting outboxed. Mildly outboxed, but clearly losing. None of these rounds have been hard to call so far. Sturm digs at the body and comes forward. Murray tries to loop a few up from underneath Sturm's elbows but isn't quite touching. Uppercut gets elbow-checked by Sturm, and Murray tries a left hook instead which does connect. Sturm lands a right hand. Hook-2 into the guard by Murray. Big right hands by Sturm, bashing hard and backing Murray to the ropes. Murray covers up. BIG RIGHT HAND BY STURM. 30-27 Sturm
