:good Massive Murray fan here... as you can probably tell I'm texting and twittering left right and centre to find out what is happening. I'm contemplating staying up just to see if anything is said! Got to admit however, I had Rios as out and out winner although that is hard for me to say! I heard, even before the weigh in, that Rios was pulling out. I don't know what is going on now. Put a tidy little sum on Murray winning by KO after recent events though.
THE FIGHT IS ON !!!!!!!! Rios has to pay Murray a fee. Think its $20,000 - and weigh in again tomorrow. That's what I have been told. Currently trying to find out if the limit for Rios is 142. Will get back to you shortly.
:good Fully intend to check it out. TBH though the Mitchell fight was a bad reality check.Told me JM is EBU level realistically. This is a euromillions rollover for him.
We bin tryin to tell em Rico. None as blind as them who don't listen. John "The Don" has them eatin out his paw.:good
Murray's getting Ko'ed even worse than he probably would of, unfortunately Fat Rios can't keep to the weight.
Yeah... I'm not delusional or anything like some fans are with their fighters. Mitchell was a big reality check, like you said. I always said Murray was Euro level. He is just exciting to watch and a sound lad, I met him after one of his fights and he had time for his fans and all that. Anyways, he (one way or another) has a good shot at a world title all of a sudden. Given the state Rios is in, I'm excited now - rather than worried like before. Couldn't be happier.
I guess Rios been hanging out with the man that knows all about failing to make the lightweight limit Castillo.
Thanks man! He had 0.6 pound to lose in 2 hours. It should have been ok no? Why weigh-in on the next day?
Rios will beat Murray handily even dead at the weight. But why is Rios killing himself to stay at lightweight?.. is it simply because of the advantage in size he gets on fight night or is it that there are bigger fights for him aroud this weight? :huh
