I always say there is not a lot between them, they do certain things better than each other, I feel Morales is a little better overall but really, no matter which group of neutral boxing fans you ask, there will never be a unanimous answer.
Barrera was a skillful boxer-puncher. Marquez was a skillfull counter-puncher. either way, Barrera, in his prime, ducked Marquez. and so did Morales. But now, all three (Barrera, Morales, Marquez) are DUCKING Humberto Soto, and all 3 have ducked Soto since 2007, after Soto couldnt get Pac to fight him in 2006, so Soto KO'd Pac's brother-Bobby to try tu lure Pac to fight him, but Pac is deathly scared to fight Soto, just like MAB, EN, JMM are also scared to fight Soto too. Right both men ducked Marquez and Soto to do what oh I know give boxing one of its greatest trilogies ever !
Marquez would stop Morales and Barrera in their prime at 126, so let's not bring him in this, remember Marquez 3-0 over Pacquiao, Pacquiao 2-0 over Barrera, Pac 2-1 over Morales, and Barrera 3-0 vs Morales, Marquez is clearly the greatest fighter of the last decade, and the greatest fighter of the 4 Greats.
The weakest link of the great 4 featherweights Erik Morales would stop Soto at 126 and 130, Soto is not on the level.

Marquez is outright better, for 1 thing Barrera is a 1 handed fighter pretty much and couldn't deal with outfighters that were faster than him Just watch their fight, watch their mutual performances against Pacman. BTW MAB had a much better performance against Pacman in the year he fought Marquez winning several rounds in the rematch
