How Exactly Did Floyd Mayweather Duck Cotto?

    Ive read alot of stupid ass comments about people sayin Floyd ducked Cotto in the past and still ducking him but when has Cotto ever called him out? when has Arum ever tried to set up a fight?

    Everyone knows Mayweather has always been and still is a superior boxer compared to Cotto. they were also both undefeated and its no secret that Cotto was a bigger draw back in the day compared to Floyd. We also know that bob Arum likes to protect his Cash Cows.

    Cotto was ringside at Floyds demolishing Gatti as if he wanted to fight him next. Why didnt Cotto follow up on that and try to fight him next? doubt? Floyd was hungry as hell back then calling out Mosley and DLH waaay before he actually fought them and was even willing to move up 2 weight classes to fight them. So why the hell wouldnt he want that big money against Cotto?

    I just find it hard to believe that floyd was willing to jump weight classes to fight someone as feared as mosley was back in the day but scared of Cottto? that **** dont make sense. As far as im concered either Cotto ducked Floyd or Neither of them ducked eachother.

    As for u ***gots thats asking why dont he fight Margarito or Cotto now. How the **** do u expect him to fight them nowadays when Bob Arum Barely wants to negotiate the most demanded superfight of our time!!? its no secret Bob Arum doesnt want to see floyd make a dime.

    Anyways for the people saying Floyd ducked cotto Wheres the proof? show me something about Cotto calling floyd out or Bob Arum wanting to make that fight happen or just dont speak on **** u know nothing about. :good

    It's all conjecture on peoples parts. I never say a fighter is ducking another one unless I have proof. But all these so called "boxing fans" make wild ass accusations with no truth to back it up.

    It's called fantasy league guys, you can do anything you want there, this is reality.

    Cotto was a top guy in his division, and Floyd didnt fight him. What else needs to be said.

    Stop making excuses about it. If Floyd really wanted to fight him , he could have. Just like he could have done with Margarito or Shane Mosley before he was an old man. But he decided to take the easy route and cash in on big pay days.

    ***** shut the **** up wit that sergio ****. why hasnt sergio fought ward, chavez, froch, direll, hopkins, dawson, pascal, lee, bute? sergio hasnt even cleaned out his division yet. that just shows how good floyd is that mutha****as gotta bring up middleweights to give floyd a challenge. u already know pacquiao is gonna get whooped by floyd so ur hopin sergio will be the one to fight him instead. sergio also called out pac and pacquiao himself said he was too big. but how is he too big when pacquiao fought margarito and clottey? is he not confident enough to fight a non fixed Top Rank fight? anyways stop changin the subject we talking about COTTO right now *****.

    The whole "call me out" thing is ghay... A real p4p KING will respond to what the boxing public wants... in 08 the boxing public was calling for Cotto V Floyd. Cotto on several occasions mentions Floyd and even said " I can't force him to fight me..." The Fact remains, Floyd was in position to fight ANYBODY and he chose Baldomir...

    Sorry man, I can't sit here and let you pretend Mayweather wanted to fight Cotto but was just waiting for Cotto to "call him out." < This is a ghay need in a man sport. "Call me out!!!!" Cotto was clear he wanted ALL the big names and when asked about Floyd he made it clear he would fight Floyd. Cotto is too smart to kiss Mayweather's ass... Pacquiao has been calling Floyd out now for over a year... Floyd, where are you?

    Calling out is a WWF thing. Also, WHEN did Floyd Call Cotto out? Oh yeah, Cotto "too green" and "lived too far." :lol:

    Floyd was a top guy in Cotto's division and Cotto didn't fight him. What else needs to be said. If Cotto really wanted to fight him he could have, but he didn't. He let Arum dictate his matchups and cash in on him.

    The fact is Floyd didn't fight him. Your just making excuses. Don't tell me Cotto wouldn't have taken that fight had the opportunity been there. Floyd was too busy fighting smaller fighters and taking vacations.

    Floyd was also a top guy and Cotto never called him out. So u can call that ducking too? Floyd wasnt the big draw back then so the weight was on Cottos shoulders to fight the best. Why didnt cotto fight floyd or williams? to protect his 0?

    Stop with this 'calling out' bull****. Fights are made behind the scenes not in the media. All it takes is a phone call from one promoter / manager to another. Floyd could have pursued that fight and he didn't, end of story.

    And we're talking about Floyd not Cotto. Stop tryin to change the subject , if Cotto's a ducker then Floyd has to be a ducker too. Do you agree with that ?

    who exactly is supposed to pick floyds fights? whos his promoter? shut the **** up u still havent responded on why pac turned down the sergio fight.
