Seriously. Took a gamble. Was looking at a straight hundred but I didn't want to risk it. £9 on Cotto in 7-12 to hedge my bets. Fair bet, I'd say when Margarito's eye is complete glass.

    Pile on sportingbet.

I've criticised Rios for stupid amounts of weight cutting before and it appears it's catching up with him.

    Dangerous levels.

Rios has always struggled making 135 but this " He hasnt eaten for the past 5 days and only two glasses of water" is bs imo.

No way you send a fighter out on that preparation.

And if he went 135.6 lbs after not eating for 5 days straight, wtf did he weigh 5 days ago? 180 lbs?? Lol.

He looked like a gaunt corpse in the weigh in against Antillion too.

Is this like a Unicef appeal?

"For only £3 a month, you can prevent a starving Texan from the hardships of boxing...."

    :lol::lol::lol:

On a serious note I know many a fighter who have done this on the week of a fight. One guy survived on ice cubes for a week and then got sparked out in a six round war.

Considering he looks the same size as Omar Henry, my hunch is about 154.

I don't like Robert Garcia at all, looks to be a snidy **** IMO and i don't think he has any control over any of his star names. He may be a good coach but in terms of the well being of his fighters he has to be questioned IMHO.

    Drained, yes.

-Living a partying lifestyle in between fights. Not so much cutting weight but having to lose LOTS

-Past his best after 80-odd fights

    -Took Stracey lightly

-His skin was at it's all time worst

Still, he was still 'Mantequilla' Napoles, one of the best wins ever by a British fighter.

On a related note. Has anybody seen the Top Rank website? It shows the schedule for up and coming fights. When it mentions the Rios vs Murray fight, they couldn't even be arsed finding a picture of Murray! His pic is one of the fight poster. I think the way he's been treated would be brilliant if he sparks Rios. Not sure about being weight drained etc. Unless Rios's body has shut down so it can't take on fluids or he sicks up any food a la De La Hoya-Pacquiao. Makes the fight much more intriguing anyway!
