    Hopkins cleaned out the MW division, there wasnt anyone else he didnt fight.

    After sturm got his name out there from the DLH fight he completely stayed out of the Hopkins/Taylor/Winky/Pavlik/Sergio cycle and stayed over in europe fighting the likes of Ronald Hearns.

    Hopkins has got some **** fighters on his defenses list but he didnt opt out of the big fights. Sturm doesnt even try to make them.

    That is the other thing, you can criticize the quality of both of their MW title defenses but did Hopkins ever have any struggles in his 20 fights? Where as Sturms did.

    I could potentially see Sturm winning rounds due to his high guard and being passive

    Hopkins would find a way inside and make it rough

    depending on where the fight is will determine who wins on cards

    This fight would probably be very boring
