Bob Arum has promoted many fighters and top fighters in his career. He has brought along fighters almost from the beginning until they became stars.

Oscar De La Hoya and Mayweather eventually made enough money where Bob Arum wasn't their boss anymore and they were the shot callers in their careers.

How is it that Pacquiao is this superstar, with millions of dollars, is a political figure in his country, yet refers to that Old ******* as "boss"????

How the **** does Arum get away with bossing Pac around, making him his *****, and using him...Surely at this stage of Manny's career even post JMM II Pacquiao could have and should have been taking FULL control of his career.

Can someone explain why Pac keeps Arum? And why he caters to Arum??? Is Pac not the BOSS and TR the company he chooses to promote his fights?

He seems very naive, did you see the way Bob coddled Pac after the fight and at the press conference..Anyway he does not have his business down pact the way a fighter at that level should..

There's got to be something going on behind the scenes. Roach takes care of Pac like he's his son. He wouldn't let Pac get butt-raped by Arum unless he had no choice about it.

I thought it was rather suspect that he broke contract with VisionQwest at what seemed to be Arum's demand and best interest.

It looked to me like the Bob Father told his minion Pacquiao that he would suffer reprocussions if he continued with the investigation.

Perhaps the Bob Father is black mailing Pacquiao with something big enough where Pac will continue to let himself be raped.

Umm... he barely speaks English (conversational at best), doesn't live in America?

You think if the same thing happened to Angulo, he would take control of his career?

Umm, not speaking English doesn't have **** to do with anything. He can use or hire a translator, and hire a manager, and a personal accountant.

He doesn't need Arum at this stage in his career. He can even hav companies bid on his fights.

Yuo don't know what the **** you talking about.

    Ingrate

I'm going to go to Zimbabwe and take the promotional company who will protect me the most and who will get me what I deserve to represent me.

And for that I will not sign a contract until the companies who would LIKE to represent me have placed their bids, and my lawyers have read them and adviced me.

Pac is a likable, but he just aint to smart.

I believe Arums complete bull**** about meetings with this and that investor is a smoke screen to decieve Pac, now when Pac officially has stated he want Floyd next.

Arum is one of the reasons Pac is making millions, but he seems prepared to pull any kind of bull**** in order to advance his own agenda, may it be finacial or personal.

Its called respect to someone who gave him the opportunity to be where he is now.
No matter how rich and famous he is, Arum still serves as his promoter. Pacquiao is with toprank and Arum is still his boss.

Maybe so..Arum orchestrated his career post Barrera. A career that is smoke and mirrors, a move only the Bob Father could pull off.
