Because everyone who has paid attention to his skills knows he could operate on more destructive fashion. Just like Wlad could, in my opinion.

Difference is that Wlad has well documented reason for his style. Floyd would get away with being a bit 'wild'..

I usually enjoy watching Floyd box. Sometimes his defence is downright mesmerising. He can only be dull at rare times, like the Baldo match. Most of the time he's great to watch.

Someone who really does bore the hell out of me -- Wlad. I simply cannot sit through a single one of his matches, because it's seriously painful to watch him cautiously jabbing and clinching for twelve rounds. He seems like a good guy outside the ring, but he puts me to sleep whenever he has a bout.

The "boring" part comes from the fact no ones been able to give Floyd much competition for the past few years. Thats why its frustrating for some when he appears to not always fight the best available at the time.

Yeah, Pac would've been 40 right now. It's hard to believe it's been that long.

He's considered boring by many because he's more entertaining outside ring because he acts like an idiot. He doesn't back up the stuff that he claims he would do in the ring. :deal

He's a very skilled fighter, but his style is not very exiting to me, you can call it boring, but it's more about the clash of styles, Floyd's style vs every one else's style just doesn't make for a very entertaining fight, also a one sided domination is not entertaining to me, That's not why I watch Boxing, To me Tyson, or Pacquiao, dominating and having little to no trouble with their opponents is Boring, I like back and forth action by two very skilled fighters, it doesn't have to be an all out war, a chess match can be very entertaining, as long as it's a close fight, and not total domination by one fighter, whether it's Mayweather, Pacquiao, Tyson, Chavez, Marquez, Morales. But unlike the previous 5, even May's most entertaining close fights just don't come close to those 5 fighters most entertaining fights.

So people might find Mayweather Boring 1. due to his style, 2. due to his domination of over matched opponents.

Edit: I prefer close fights regardless of who's fighting, even if it's just for a few rounds, rather than one sided beat downs.
