Lujan is closer to beating Mike Jones than Helenius was to beating Chisora.

Jones trainer was saying that Lujan was a step down compared to Soto-Karass... I can't see the fight right now therefore I'm just reading ur posts but I disagreed from day 1. Lujan is a tough awkward fighter who brings different tools to the table compared to Jones previous opponents.

Jones is much too passive, no desire to build a fanbase.

    Round 12

Lujan ducks in and has a right to the body blunted. Jones is sliding back and tossing out hooks. Shoeshine to the body. Lujan slaps out with a wide hook from outside, nowhere close. Jones thrusts some weak jabs straight out into Lujan's face while pressing him to the ropes. Jabs to the forehead by Jones. Lujan slaps with rights over the top, blocked - now a left hook to the hip on his way into a clinch. Jones pops a quick right hand lead but Lujan jerks back and moves his head to dodge it. Clinch and Lujan taps the body. Jones throws a right hand and left hook combo and just misses. Lujan misses a wide hook by a mile. GOOD body head combo by Jones. Lujan tosses soft jabs to the body. Good right by Jones, knocking Lujan back to the ropes. Double weak jab by Lujan. Sloppy overextended jab by Jones, over Lujan's shoulder. Flush right by Jones. Lujan shakes his head no. LEFT HOOK RIGHT HAND BY JONES! Lujan is in the corner taking shots.

    10-9 Jones

    117-111 Jones

Not as exciting as I thought, but good job to Mike Jones.

    "Win today, look impressive tomorrow..."

He may be banking on the almighty Zero for his marketability, following the Floyd Mayweather Jr. Business Plan.

You know what would be funny? If Lujan and Cotto fought, and wore the same color trunks, and after one brutal round they went to the wrong corners in a daze and sat on each other's stools and neither of their corners could tell them apart and they each got the other guy's strategic advice.
