Cotto still got the pop and Margarito can't accumulate the damage he needs to, Cotto looking the goods.

    79 - 73 Cotto

Margarito is swelling badly and can't see. He is starting to take some real damage. LOL.

I can't see Cotto getting Kirkland, nor Margo. I think Trout Lara would give Cotto major problems.

Cotto's boxing ability and ring generalship have really impressed me tonight. The only caveat I can say about him is that he doesn't have that killer instinct he had before, and he hasn't gone to the body much.

to me that was a key for Cotto. He had to pivot and spin Margo. First fight he went straight back to the ropes WAY too much.

Cotto changed one thing in this fight: He prepared to fight in retreat, and likely has been conditioning his legs like mad for a half a year.

He isn't wearing out, and he's landing all the hard, meaningful punches.

This fight is well in hand. Only Cotto can give it back to Tony.

Cotto should fight his fight but try and land a big left hook and get Margarito out of there. He can do it.
