    **** this fight.. no way this goes down over the Pac fight. Cotto didn't even beat Margarito (yes he was winning on the scorecards but Margarito was probably in better shape than Cotto by the time the fight got stopped, besides the eye Margs was fine). Also Arum promotes Cotto, it ain't happening. I'll take a Berto fight or Ortiz rematch before Cotto, though I would obviously prefer Pac or Martinez.

    For Mayweather's style, Cotto will always be tough to handle. Mayweather sure as hell won't be able to overpower Cotto so this would be a boxing match where both are relaxed trying to figure each other out with counters and so on. Cotto is troubled against pressure fighters and Mayweather isn't a pressure fighter nor does he have one punch KO power to back Cotto off.

    I'm not against this fight if it happens knowing that the Pacquiao fight will never happen anyway.

    If the rumors about Cotto possibly leaving Arum are true then expect Arum to send him out before officially leaving.

    Yeah I heard that too. This is off topic but the one guy on Box Nation is hilarious. Don't know his name but he was wearing red socks. He is the man who ever he is.

    Cotto is a much better fighter than Berto or Ortiz, ranked much higher, achieved much more. After Pac and Martinez, a Cotto fight is the most significant for Floyd.
