With Miguel Cotto getting his revenge tonight against Antonio Margarito, and with Cotto saying that Bob Arum will always be his promoter after the fight, it seems nearly a foregone conclusion. Miguel Cotto only has one remaining blemish on his record. Manny Pacquiao. What we saw tonight is that Cotto can learn from one fight and adjust in the rematch. So, would he be able to do so against the Pac Man? I thought, recently, that Pacquiao-Cotto II was off the table. I also thought that Margarito would win tonight. Now, is it time for Cotto to get his final revenge? :bbb
Let's hope not. If the Pacquiao-Mayweather fight isn't going down next, let's have Mayweather take on Cotto and a 4th Pac-JMM battle in between.
He deserves another shot, definately. Hopefully not next, Mayweather fight needs to happen, but straight after @150 it would be good and I'd Cotto a decent chance.
Cotto should be behind both Mayweather and Marquez in the queue, but I'm sure he moves to the front if he re-signs long-term with Top Rank.
