Cotto got Saved. Straight up.

    I'm making a thread dedicated to this, rather than spout off in random threads. You all need to hear this.

    The referee and doctor saved Cotto. I do not believe that in EITHER fight, did Margarito ever lead on the scorecards. But the scorecards don't matter when you don't hear the final bell.....

    Cotto is afraid of Margarito. He ran and clinched tonight, which is good strategy, but nonetheless, he is scared.

    He was running, would get caught to the body, and you could tell he was feeling the punches, and Margarito wasn't.

    He would have broken before the 12th tonight, had the doctors not stepped in. He was gassing, and was catching shots to the body which would have eventually ended in Cotto breaking. Again. He would not have been able to run forever.

    But if he did run run run, than yes. Cotto by UD. But 8 times out of 10, Margarito breaks cotto before 12. The doctors saved Cotto from the 3 rounds that he wasn't going to survive.
