margarito entire career has to have an * next to it

    Well i know there will be hundreds of threads about this now but i'll just write what i feel here. Since getting caught margarito hasnt been able to beat anybody he has been a punching bag. And even the guy he beat he didnt brawl and refused to fight toe to toe with the guy. We will never know but i think he cheated and became famous and a millionaire doing it.

    I'm sure many feel the same about the * next to his record. But honestly after seeing the rematch I'm not convinced that the wraps were the difference in this fight, I think it had more to do with Cotto executing a more effective game plan and really targeting that eye with precision.

    Well anyways, congrats to all Boricuas. Mexico had a tremendous year but we couldn't get the shut out :good now I gotta change my Avi.

    Both these guys are not the same after Pacquiao.Cotto has always been overrated. Margarito is a genuine tough cookie with average skills and athletic ability.He has a good chin is strong and durable, unfortunately his eye will not hold together in these kinds of fight after the damage he sustained in the Pacquiao fight.

    People, come on. The plaster was not the difference. If anything, lets give Cotto credit for ad******g and fighting a better fight. No doubt about it. And lets not act like the eye did not affect Marg. That is the reason the fight was stopped!

    Like i said before bro....Everything this guy has done now is questionable....and the fact he has no remorse for the situation puts him in the hot seat even more...

    He was busting on Cotto's body all night with the same thudding heavy handedness as before or did you not notice that?

    The heavier shots were by far Margarito's. Give the guy credit. He came into the fight with one good eye and Cotto ran like his ass was on fire in order to not get ko'd again.

    I think this fight proved nothing about the handwraps, both guys are nowhere near prime anymore wraps have nothing to do with taking a punch and this time margarito just cut easier and got his eye shut that has nothing to do with ilegal handwraps does it?

    Margo did the same thing in his first fight as he does in all his fights.

    Who'd he beat a green Martinez and Cintron. Am I missing anybody worth having an asterisk?
