Is if he can poach Floyd from Golden Boy, why else have Konkz goto Mayweather's gym? Floyd's contract is at an end and he wants to take over promotional duties. He also will likely be hoping to double dip both Manny and Floyd's purses if they do fight. Floyd may run with that as a Pacquaio fight can still make him more money than other fights. Arum will probably make sure the decision is controversial so there will be a rematch, ie a draw or Manny win's very controversially and has to fight a rematch meaning another 3million PPVs sold. If the rematch is close, he may make it a trilogy.
Arum wants to keep all money in house so he can keep it all for himself. Thats why Pac only fights top rank fighters. Its a combination of him knowing Floyd will woop pac and not wanting to give Floyd money.
So what you are saying is, you never see this fight being made. Mayweather will never sign with Top Rank.
So why does Floyd fight only Golden Boy fighters for 90-10 splits and insist on his Mayweather promotions taking all the promoters revenue? Both Floyd and Arum are the same money-hungry type of people and maximising profit is their main objective. That's why this fight will be most difficult to make once they get everything else sorted. They will both want too much
More importantly they both have anamosity towards eachother and dont want to see eachother earn a dime
