    Any body who thinks 2oz make any diffennce to the power of a punch, thrown by a world class boxer has NEVER boxed.

    The reason some fighters tend to want bigger gloves is to protect their hands a little bit more, like Floyd.

    As fighters get bigger they wear bigger gloves as its assumed they're hitting harder and needa little more protection on the fists.

    These were 10 oz gloves,the standard gloves one wears at LMW.

    Its possible Pac got the lighter gloves as the fight was closer to the welterweight limit than LMW.(150lbs)

    WW to LMW is the change over to bigger gloves I believe.
