Cotto lost to a Margarito ( who at the time was the most avoided Fighter in the division and it looks like he MIGHT have had plaster on his hands )

No. His fight last night does not do anything as far as rankings. I would like to see him rematch Pacquiao, and though I know the outcome will be the same if he managed to pull an upset, I would put him in the top ten somewhere.

 

i get ward but idk how bradley is being rated higher than froch or cotto. and the loss to kessler was a very close fight that probably couldve gone either way.

And that was with his plaster. Beating him doesn't put you in the top 10. Mayorga is a fun fighter and makes for god fights, but wtf? I thought he was retired and then he gets one fight in a couple of years against a nobody and then he fights Cotto.

Hasnt he stop all of his opponents since moving up at 154. There is a reason Mayorga hasnt gotten a fight ever since, Margarito being stop plaster or no plaster is a challenge for anyone esp. at a more comfortable weight, Foreman at one point had his moment of shine and was stop by Cotto and please dont forget what team said Foreman was to big for a fight A lot of the top guys have not put masterful performance as of lately with exception of Martinez who should be number one.
