If this is a recent quote I fear for Froch's mentality in this fight. Clearly he sees in Andre Ward the same problems he faced against Dirrell and cant shake the feeling that he was incredibly lucky that night not to lose to a 17 fight prospect.
Froch lost to dirrell only if it was a back-pedalling contest or a clinch contents. In all other areas froch owned that wannabe g. Shaw hi would be proud.
Have you checked out the thread with the Froch-Ward face-off type thing? Not a hidden meaning, just wondered if you've seen it and what you thought.
It's just funny laughing at him. He is an arrogant and classless coward, who nobody wants to see fight. I'm glad his career won't be 1/100th of what it should be. Be honest...you'd love it if Dirrell was a warrior like Froch, wouldn't you?
Current Froch is better than the one who beat Dirrell, He's suprisingly the most improved fighter in the S6
I agree 100%. But he still lost to Dirrell (outpunched by a wide margin) and will lose badly to Ward.
I like Froch. That being said, when Dirrell comes back, some Nottingham Booty is gonna hit the canvas.
yeah Dirrell won landing 105 punches over 12 rounds.... great way for a challenger to attempt to take a champions belt by landing about 8 or 9 punches per round.....STFU
Froch's improvement is overstated. He's faced 2 come forward one dimensional sluggers in Abraham and Johnson. He had a close fight with Johnson whereas Dawson and Bute shut Johnson out easily. Froch is what he was before the Dirrell fight. A guy who cant fight coming forward only backwards where he can use his long reach, jab and length. When he had to come forward agianst Dirrell he looked cavemanish. Against Ward he faces an even more versatile opponent. A guy who can fight on the inside, outside, boxing backwards or chest to chest. Very tough fight for Froch. He better get right mentally.
This how real men take a punch: [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=A-_fogIfi2c[/ame] Skip to 7 mins. Girls stay on the ground and play dead, warriors get back up and fight :deal
