Just got back from NY....Hats off to Margo for being tough, but Cotto was just pummeling him. At instances it looked a lot like the first fight with the difference that it semed that everytime Cotto felt like he was falling in the same rythm as the first one he would do one of two things: 1. he would either clinch and turn him, 2. he would push him against the ropes and then tried to bring the fight to the center of the ring. Cotto didnt seem tired or anything and it was a good stoppage IMO although I would've preferred the fight to continue but he was just going to cruise to a shutout IMO. I had a great time, it was definitely a weekend to remember.

    You jammy bassa!! :D

Cotto looked drained at the end but I agree, he would've coasted the last few anyway. Think it was more mentally drained than physical.

    Made up for him :smoke

JuanitoBoxing....glad you had a good time. Any Tito style welcome planned for Cotto? Wish they would stage a real fight down here at American Airlines Arena or Amway Center up in Orlando!

I agree with all of this. I wish the tko would've been more absolute, but Cotto was so dominant it doesnt really matter. I only gave Margo one round when scoring live.

On another note, that tribute to Smokin' Joe they did was awesome stuff.

Yeah I wish they could make more fights in Florida. Miami or Orlando would be perfect places

Yeah, BankAtlantic Center and even Bank United Center are decent too. I think they even had some small fight at the Doubletree by the Miami Airport Convention Center hotel like 2-3 weeks ago, and I didn't even know it was big enough to stage a fight there.

Obviously Cotto still has a completely different personality than Trinidad so I'm sure he's ok with a smaller homecoming. Either way, that fight was extremely personal for some and even non Cotto followers were pulling for him in this one, boricua or not. Lets see where he goes from here.

On a different note, bring Juanma vs Gamboa to American Airlines Arena or Amway Center in Orlando......tickets will sell...who cares if Juanma has 1 loss...that means nothing.

Or Gamboa vs anybody for that matter really. They can make Gamboa to the AA Arena what Cotto is to MSG
