No it isn't. Not to everyone.

Money is everything to Klitschko's, though.

It IS all about the money. Most boxers have only a handful of years once at or near the top, and no education or craft otherwise, so they want to make most of it. Hell, these days, after 2 losses, your chances of getting a good payday is slim. Chisora impressed during his "loss" though, and the division is ****, so he's still in the mix.

Tell me this, what is better? Fighting Helenius or Fury for 50k, or end up in Wlad's KO highlight reel and make a cool 1,5 million? That's 30 Heleniusses for you.

He needs Klitschko. All roads lead to him, whether you like it or not.

It's an interesting quandry. Chisora might get a chance to fight Dimitrenko or Fury first. If he could win a fight like that, it might double his potential earnings against a Klitschko down the road. But if he were to lose, he'd be back to square 1.

    no, not Wlad yet.

Lets have some of the top ten heavyweights actually fighting eachother before they go for the Klitschkos.

Look how many people wrote off Chisora after the Fury fight and what he came back to do against Helenius. Look how many people had said Wlad should've retired after the Brewster fight, or said Cotto was done after Pac.

Fans know **** all about the resilience of fighters the day after they've been beat- we only know how they'll bounce back once we give them a fair shot to do it. One developing heavyweight getting beat by another one on the way up isn't a death sentence, so let's wait until we bury the coffin too deep, shall we? It's that kind of attitude that makes matchmakers reluctant to stage these kinds of fights between young prospects/contenders looking to make their mark in the first place. I don't know why there's such an all or nothing attitude- it's either future undisputed champ or bum. It's bull**** is what it is.

Bottom line is we need more fights like Chisora-Helenius (robbery notwithstanding) to bring some order to the rankings and allow contenders to clearly emerge. We don't get nearly enough of them. It was a damn entertaining heavyweight fight, to boot.

I'd rather see Arreola or a Helenius rematch before he moves to the likes of Chambers.

The heavyweight division would be entertaining if everyone wasn't padding their records for a shot at a klit.

    Adamek-Povetkin-Chambers-Haye fighting eachother

    Helenius-Chisora-Arreola-Solis

Would at least be an entertaining division again.

Exactly, never mind the decision, it was a very good heavy weight bout between two contenders and it would be great to see more bouts like that between the up-and-coming heavy weights. There are some entertaining fights to make, if only the promoters would allow it. Keeping perfect record should not be as important as it seems to be today. The best fighters should be able to be fight each other and the potential loss should not mean as much as it means in the business of boxing today.

    :good

    yeah Lunny, good talk.

As A Finn, as A Helenius supporter I am shocked how varying us Boxing fans are. One day you are great prospect another just a Bum. I am disappointed how one fukin loss makes you a bum, while Fighting against young contender.
Iam just so disappointed.. Like it is end of the world:verysad Robert will be back...

Edit. While writing this I even forgot Robert actually got the "w" on his record as I knew in my heart it did not happen, it just didnt happen...
