Anyone who has ever boxed knows that Reyes gloves are a puncher's glove whilst Everlast aren't. The difference in the type and size of the gloves could have ultimately been the only factor that stopped Cotto from looking like he did in the first fight.
The only part of Marg's face that was busted up was his eye and that first started swelling from a punch that grazed it. It wasn't even a decent punch that ****ed his eye. Cotto's face was much more marked up. Check out the post fight press conference.
