This proves Margarito used plaster on some fights, and on some he didn't, he probably tossed a coin, "should i used plater?" "no, not this time" and lost to Williams.

Damn!!! Rios vs Murray made Margarito - Cotto 2 look boring. Great war from Rios and Murray damn!!!!!!!!!!!!

One theory, is that he was at a cross roads after losing to Williams. So he decided to get a little help with his punching power. :yep

Margarito will probably write a book about this stuff in a few years when he is on coke and has no money.

Ok. you stated your opinion and then your displeasure at the "****tards" going against your opinion by being "critical".

In order for said "****tards" to become "knowledgable posters" on this topic they need to stop being "critical" and start conforming to the opinion YOU expressed.

Shows the difference without and with use of loaded gloves. Margarita got what he deserved the criminal.

Interesting. After 9 rounds in the first fight, Cotto's face looks clean compared to how he looked after 9 last night. I thought the plaster was what damaged Cotto?:nut:!:

What happened in the first fight is that Cotto got worn down and Margarito pretty tee'd off at will on Cotto in rounds 10 and 11, thats what caused Cotto to have his face busted up.

This plaster **** is getting old. There just is'nt an ounce of proof Margarito had plaster agaisnt Cotto.

Both fighters have regressed physically, and Margarito's eye will never again be able to hold up to the ammount of punishment he always takes due to his give and take style of fighting.

Cotto was always prone to swelling; their first fight made him much more vulnerable to cuts. He meant he didn't really get rocked or feel a lot of weight behind them.

While I can never say for sure that Margarito used illegal warps in their first fight and a second encounter can't validate too much, I do find it telling that when Cotto leaned on Margarito when he had him against the ropes, and Margarito was able to land some inside uppercuts, Cotto rarely ever seemed bothered by the punches. I also look at the fact that he didn't really get hit much until the 7th round, and even then didn't take a lot of punishment until 9,10, and 11, from fewer punches than I've seen him take before. He was rocked badly once or twice, but it was really his face that was hurting him in that first fight. Cotto got hit much less last Saturday but his lack of response to some hard inside punches was still notable...Just food for thought.

Tazo, its been mentioned in some threads here. Cotto made a key adjustment that helped him greatly this second fight.
.......Cotto tied Margarito's hands and arms and clinched in this fight, where in his previous fight clinching never entered his mind.

......getting into these clinches nullified Margarito letting his hands loose on the inside with uppercuts when Cotto needed a breather.

......those uppercuts caused major damage to Cotto the first go around, but Cotto having the benefit of studying how Mosley was able to control Margarito punch output by holding, took note and used it himself this go around.

Cotto is obviously the better skilled fighter. But I still fancy Margarito would have had a good chance to wear down Cotto and had a chance at another late stoppage had his eye held up as it had done in the past pre-Pacquiao fights.

Doesnt really matter how his face looked. The man stepped up to the plate against another fighter who seriously hurt him physically & mentally last time & did the job , I happen to like both fellas but I have to take my hat off to Cotto for pulling that **** out of the bag......Fair play to the man (Bring on number 3..!!!!)
