I still think Margarito has Cotto's number. Its a shame he soured the first fight with the wraps controversy and it''s a shame Pacquiao took his eye. It was the same old Cotto.
I understand people disliking him because of the handwraps but there are two points to be made. One, that he's a warrior despite that and secondly, we don't know if he actually knew. Whilst it's likely he did, there have been many trainers who have cheated because it benefits them, all without the fighters permission or knowledge. There is no evidence to say Margarito did know and for that reason, I can't hold it against him.
Mosley's a cheat. Why doesn't he get all the hate that Marg gets? Why do people believe that Mosley was clean when he fought Marg, given that he admitted to knowingly taking PEDs to gain advantage?

All forms of cheating should be punished but not all forms are equally bad. Plaster is viewed as a more blatant attack of the rules of fairness, because you are using an inorganic, foreign substance to attack another person, just as if you were holding a weapon in your hand. Both are potentially lethal and increase your odds exponentially. Steroids essentially raise your testosterone levels,potentially increasing your strength, speed and recovery by some margin, usually not that large. The end result is simply not as dramatic nor as dangerous to the other person.
I think they should have informed the fans better about Marg's wraps, how hard was the stuff he had? Anyway, Marg has an ATG chin, he was KO'd by Mosley but just look how many shots he took. Mayweather took ONE flush shot from Mosley and was badly hurt, just for measure.

All forms of cheating are just as bad as each other. Mosley took PEDs so he could punch more, harder and longer. A drug that allows the body to do what is un-natural is just as bad as pads over knuckles.
