    when did i do that??

If Gallager gets 10% His manager 15%. After tax he is lucky to see £30,000. Still its a decent amount of money if your smart with it.....which he probably won't be.

You do it all the time, particularly what you think fighters' purses will be.

£30,000 is a decent salary for a year after tax, especially since Top Rank will have paid all the US costs for travel, accommodation and food for the camp.

£30k. Was it worth the risk. He now has 2 losses b2b and where does he go from here?

I know it was a world title opportunity but £30k to take a beating on the back of a loss to mitchell says bad move to me.

I actually think more of Murray as a fighter after the Rios loss than I did before, so it's not all bad, I suppose. Although I'm not sure if Murray respects my opinion of him as much as he respects Dunky's opinion of him.

£30k for a beating like that?

I thought a standard Brit defence on sky was like £25k?

Suppose the upside would have been the extra money if he beat Rios, or being on HBO and giving a good account of yourself and the possible future dates off that....still, thats in a perfect world. but £30k for that face?

Ignore HBO's scores. Murray did well. You have to consider the guy hasn't much of a dig and I guarantee you he lasted longer than Mitchell would have.

It was worth the risk - he got a title shot, he performed pretty well on the world-stage. But he needs someone to work on his defensive skills. When he fought Thaxton he was stepping around to land his shots - since then he's regressed.

No I don't. I get the info from respected websites or purse bids. If i am guessing, i state that and go of previous purses for simular fights.

£30k is decent for someone whos gonna work until they are 60. Murray has what 3 years max left as a pro.

More speculation - yeah, you don't make stuff up at all...

Not every fight can get millions of pounds. Very few fighters at Euro level get that sort of money. If he'd won he'd be in line for big paydays. He didn't win, but he may have raised his value as an opponent.
