What did you think about the Cotto camp hiring Naazim Richardson for the night?

    Well, I had a place full of Cotto followers. It was a good fight. It was not the way I expected it to go at all, but I always give credit for anyone that wins. You would think that Margarito would have tried to protect his eye a little bit, but he has gotten this far with that style so to each is own. But yeah, it was good to watch a full night of boxing even though I didn't care of the Rios/Murray fight.

    TheCotto camp hired Richardson to go view the wrapping. Margacheato's camp was no amused and made a big stink about it. In the end Diaz(Cotto's trainer) did the viewing.

    It was a brilliant move but I don't think it had any impact and even if brother naz would would have been allowed to view the wraps I don't think it would have effected Margo in any way same fight regardless

    Anybody know what brother naz got paid for this stunt?

    Margo and his camp didnt really care...As far as i remember it wasnt Margo's camp, but NY comission that didnt let Nazim in...I remember they asked the Margo camp, and they said they didnt care.

    they said he didn't hold a trainers/seconds license in NY

    but i dont know why that should have been a problem as in the past we've seen groupies and hanger ons go watch gloves being wrapped.

    a pro license is different to am but i thought if you have a pro license in one state its valid everywhere?

    Naz was kitted out in Cotto's ecko gear, even had a matching hat :lol:

    No I was watching it on Top Rank TV with crappy commentary and didn't see him though i'm curious to find a video of it now :think
