He has now pulled out of 3 of his last 4 agreed fights with injury or illness.

That is a truly atrocious record, especially when you have fighters like Margarito, Froch and Haye who will go into battle already carrying injuries, just to give the fans what they want.

How long should this unreliable behaviour continue? How can man who is only 25% likely to turn up for a fight be allowed to keep the belts?

We basically have a champion whose body is giving out on him, and 75% of the time can't make it through a training camp without getting an injury. Why doesn't he retire?

Should he retire? Should he be stripped? Is it time for a new CHEF?

    Your views . . .

He should be fined, forced to pay Mormeck 250.000 USD

Calzaghe was as bad, if not worse in pulling out of fights through injury.

He's a disgrace who should be stripped of his belts, he ducked Chisora TWICE and now he's bottled it yet again with Mormeck. It seems to be a trend with the Klits that the slightest sign of injury and they want to run for the hills, remember Vitali actually bottled it during his fight with Byrd when his shoulder start hurting :patsch

I imagine Wlad is laughing and joking and having a nice round of golf right now.

Cant help but feel for Mormeck. I'm sure he would have fought through the pain if the shoe was on the other foot

I dunno if your being serious or just on the wind up Shaun, but yeah it does seem to be one rule for him and another for the rest.
A bit of a Hypocrite Wlad.

Surely he's pissed em out by now.

He's almost as bad as his big (baby) brother, who shamelessly ducked Rahman repeatedly.

A bit if both mate. You can't help injuries or illnesses, but I'm not so sure that the Klitties would be so tolerant if it was one of Wlad's opponents who pulled out 3 times

Its shameless how the Klits complain about other fighter's injuries. Shameless.

Jurgen Braehmer is more unreliable imo

I dunno, I guess I'm disappointed he didn't go through with this fight. I'm no expert on kidney stones, but I did have one once and I pissed it out and was fine by the next day. But again I'm no prizefighter, and I'm not sure what surgery they did for this, I thought for the most part unless you have a sack of marbles in your kidney you just **** them out and get on with it. I guess unless he was cut open and needed stitches or something, I would have liked to see him fight. But I don't know the particulars.

Vitali doesn't like to fight guys close to his own size. SNV anyone? Lewis brutal TKO6 anyone?

He actually had a serious back injury against Chagaev but fought through the pain for that battle. I bet Haye is kicking himself for pulling out of that fight for money reasons now.

I wonder if Chef will share the light on that one?

A kidney stone is a one of those fluke medical events... It sucks for both sides, of course Wladimir wanted to fight and not disappoint all of those who purchased tickets/hotels, etc... and of course the undercard fighters too, all of the training he put in, etc....

    But that's life, things happen.

The Klitschkos cancelled 7 fights within the past few years against 3 different opponents.
    They sure like their "monopoly".
