Its funny how miguel acosta was painted as some kind of lightweight monster after the rios fight, but now no one seems to mention his name since losing to richard abril

I think Murray had no chance and did better than expected. Mitchell and Murray traded on pretty even terms until Kevin got through. The fight goes the same distance, but because of Mitchell's defensive liabilities and style, he gets clobbered quicker.

He doesn't have to worry though, he'll never have to face him now.

That Rios clearly lacked his usual ferociousness so I could see Mitchell maybe beating that Rios. I think Rios will move up now after his performance.

 

it also could mean he was not that bothered,he knew he was not going to make weight,so thought **** it,im moving up anyhow.
personally,i think he like most on here thought it would be over in a couple,he looked shocked after 4 rounds.
if murray learnt how to move his head a bit,use angles like hatton used too,he would of beat him,bit late for that me thinks though.

ps,someone like hatton would of eaten rios alive in there,thats 3 fights ive seen him in now,and not overly impressed at all

 

There is very little between the two. If anything Mitchell would get wiped out faster because of the styles. Murray was all over Mitchell within 40 seconds of the first round, Rios would do the same and finish it.

 

If Rios is stripped of his title who are boxers inline to to fight for the title??

Murray isnt as skilled/talented as Mitchell, but he has a better chin.

Mitchell is HARDLY a defensive genius. He gets hit. Rios will hit him. When he does, Mitchell's chin wont handle it. Simple as that.
