From my recollection Jones did send in a second sample, but it was half a year later (as would agree with the timing of the IBF letters). It came back clean, but that result is meaningless as he could have cycled off after 6-8 months without any problems.

And there lies the problem. I feel sorry for Reggie Johnson because he will never know if he lost to Jones fair and square

    1. There is no test for 'anabolic steroids', what did Jones test positive for?

    2. The A Sample and B Sample are taken at the same time, why did the B sample not test positive too

    3. Isn't it a bit unusual for both fighters to test positive?

    4. Why was it accepted that Jones taking Ripped Fuel, which contains the banned Ephedra as a reasonable explanation?

Steroid testing was not the norm back in 2000, but the state of Indiana had started thier own testing scheme

    Source?
Why? Neither of them knew they they were going to get caught.

It was never accepted. He tested positive for an anabolic steroid. The IBF wanted to test him for an anabolic steroid. Jacob Hall states he tested positive for an anabolic steroid. The only person that talks about Ripped Fuel is Jones. The same Jones who never gave the IBF the urine sample when they requested it.

The International Olympic Committee in 1997 banned androstenedione and placed it under the category of androgenic-anabolic steroids.

Which would explain why the test showed an anabolic steroid.

However - Barry R. McCaffrey, the director of the White House's Office of National Drug Control Policy, attempted to determine whether androstenedione could be classified as an anabolic steroid in July of 1999. However, it could not because there is no proof of it promoting muscle growth.

Umm yes it was the norm. You don't test positive for 'anabolic steroids' you test positive on a specific test. :deal What substance did Jones test positive for? Jacob Hall hasn't got a clue in hell what he's talking about otherwise he'd state what was tested for and release results

This.......................It's laughable how ripped he was, considering it's well know that Jones was lazy in the gym
