You know what mate the last couple of weeks that pricks had me in stitches i don't know why but things like 'i see human beings' in a serious thread just cracked me up but yeah he's a utter *****. Guy's been doing it for 2 years ffs it's beyond taking **** now.

Funniest Poster of the Year - Magicman or Jim Kelly.

Knob of the Year - Can't think of anyone.

Hugger of the Year - Go Getta. I like Atberry, but he's worth a mention here for posting exclusively on Chris Eubank.

Hater of the Year - Whoever nutjob is disguised as.

- Best Poster of the Year - LP (Solid performer, looks to educate himself on the sport. Good poster) *Special Mention to Bajingo, Wrimc & Rooq who all post well on consistent basis*

- Most Improved Poster of the Year - Slapbangwhallop (Less arguing, contributes to forum with his interviews and inside knowledge). Laz has improved a fair bit as well which is props to him

- Funniest Poster of the Year - Gary Barlow (Man is hilarious for the most part). Miguel2010 is close second for his violent insults to Laz :rofl

- Noob of the Year - Bill (Never makes out he knows it all, takes on board opinions, states his. How people should post really). JimJom is a good addition to.

- Knob of the Year - Drinker (Boxen actually provided comical value)

- Hugger of the Year - Go Getta (If this is Darni he was decent then since he's become Go Getta he's been shocking)

- Hater of the Year - Myself (George Groves), Dftaylor is a close second .

- Thread of the Year - The Boxen one :rofl

- ''Clubman'' of the Year - Griff (The man's top class, he never begs for plaudits just uploads his stuff for all of us to enjoy. ****ing solid Griff!)

FORUM AWARD CATEGORIES (Jan 1st - Dec 31st 2011)

- Best Poster of the Year - Genuinely too many to give honourable mentions, it would end up as a love fest. DFTaylor and JPab just miss out for me to Kosaros who keeps me up to date with Japanese prospects as well as continuing his great work as a really helpful and amiable poster.

- Most Improved Poster of the Year - Vano has really pushed himself to learn more about the historical side of things, and therefore this is the first year I've had some really good debates with him.

- Funniest Poster of the Year - Bryn MM91 & wrimc pushed him close (nice post ^^^ as well) but 'Gaz noncing some kids in water' had me crying.

- Noob of the Year - Dr Mo good egg, smart, knowledgable, and bangs the drum for some quality fighters.

- Knob of the Year -Gary Barlow is way too 'helpful' and caustic to be worthy of this award. I go for Boxen

- Hugger of the Year - Go Getta/Darni he's harmless though, and a nice enough kid.

- Hater of the Year - Spearmint Rhino

- Thread of the Year - The Encyclopedia is absolutely brilliant, but I'm going for the Boxers who sound like Fish or whatever it was called, had me in stitches. Lobster De La Hoya atsch I still think mine, Marlin Starfish was the best as it encompassed two fish brilliantly :deal

- ''Clubman'' of the Year - I could go for Jonsey because he is passionate, works hard and contributes a fair bit to the forum, not because he made another silly remark and everyone jumped on him. But I'm going for Griff, an unsung hero and an absolute legend who has helped me out **** loads this year.

As for AWOL posters Johna is a god shout, Gooners, TFFP and Slip should post more often, but SAFC is too lounge based for my liking nowadays.

BOXING AWARD CATEGORIES (Jan 1st - Dec 31st 2011)


- British Fight of the Year - Mitchell Vs Murray Appleby-Walsh was great, but this meant more and had an explosive finish.

- International Fight of the Year Been some good ones, but I'm going for Rios Vs Acosta

- British KO of the Year Gotta' be Afolabi Vs Dunstan

- International KO of the Year Man, Dustin Dirks smashing some pleb. ya'll know what I mean. EDIT: Uchiyama Vs Solis

- British Fighter of the Year - Lee Selby Still improving but made a name for himself on the domestic scene with two resounding stoppage wins over top-notch domestic opposition.

- International Fighter of the Year - Juan Manuel Marquez. Only one meaningful fight but a clear win over the best fighter in the game.

- Best Performance by a British Boxer Award Selby Vs Smith so awkward and pretty much a rout finished with a devastating K.O.

- Best Performance by a Foreign Boxer in Britain Award Sai Vs Cox all the way

- British Journeyman of the year - Hope he isn't offended but he fits in with the description IMO. Coming out of the wilderness to earn a draw, score an explosive knockdown and give it his all out of his best weight on pretty short notice, Jeff Thomas gained some exposure and had all the ESB Brit Forum faithful screaming at the tele.

- British Robbery of the year - Cox vs Sai All the way. Horrendous. Just, horrendous.

- International Robbery of the year - I can see the justification for Pac-JMM III in a way....but at least the action wasn't impaired as it was in Agbeko-Mares I which was mind numbingly painful.

- Duck of the year - Regardless of all the issues, Tim Bradley (or indeed his problems) has appeared to be the major stumbling block in the fight with Khan not coming off.

- British Breakthrough of the Year Award (boxer who has made a giant leap forward in his career in the last 12 months) - Ricky Burns and fair play to him. Tyson Fury is an honourable mention.

- International Breakthrough of the Year Award (boxer who has made a giant leap forward in his career in the last 12 months) - Rungvisai who has done very well for himself off the back of a very good and tricky display against Wonjongkam, to prove himself one of the best Super Flys around with two very solid wins over Rojas and Nashiro.

And seriously can't believe I've got so many votes, cheers lads :good I'll tone down my acerbic nature from now on, seems I don't have to be so bitter and narcy all the time

As for TFFP, where were you this year man? :-(

- Best Poster of the Year - Antcull. Wish he posted more, I seem to always agree with what he says. Talks a lot of sense.

- Most Improved Poster of the Year - Can't say if he's really improved a great deal cos I can't remember much of last year but I've found Jpab to be a good poster this year when he's been on the Brit forum.

- Funniest Poster of the Year - Shaunster without doubt. More of a lounge poster but he comes on the Brit Forum enough for me to give it to him. BoxingAnalyst runs him close for the irony in his username.

- Noob of the Year - Can't think of one really.

- Knob of the Year - Don't really get irritated by posters or trolls who are causing trouble for attention I have to say.

- Hugger of the Year - Olu with Alosegun. Meant in a good way, I was happy to see him back when he beat Chebah.

- Hater of the Year - Nutjob/Gary Barlow for Ricky Burns. Done well to retain his crown IMO.

- Thread of the Year - Any of Mandanda's could be up there. My personal favourite for the debate was Mares/Agbeko 1 build up thread.

- ''Clubman'' of the Year - LP 1985. Very good all round poster and seems a nice guy too.

If there was an award for post of the year, it would be SportsLeader's Mora comment obviously in hindsight. But saying that, it was a more than logical point when he said it at the time, I doubt anyone could have foreseen his incompetence.
