So Golota wants to rematch Adamek next year?

    :-(

I think Golota could do much better against Adamek if he got into shape this time around and took him more seriously. Golota thought he could just blast thru Adamek because he was smaller and underestimated him. But in the end, Adamek will beat Golota once again, he's just too old and shot.

I doubt Adamek would agree to fighting Golota again anyway unless it involved a huge payday. And who would want to see this, thier fight wasnt even remotely competitive.

I am absolutely NOT on board. Go Golota......to the retirement home where you belong.

I'll give him another chance, only if he comes in top shape with the eye of the tiger.

Finally even the die hard Polishmen admit he's done and have stuck a fork in him.

shame he was robbed twice, if not that, he would have been the first Polish HW champion , sadly those days are gone, I'd really want him to make a comeback, but that's next to impossible

Going after Adamek is pointless, no gain if he wins, huge lose otherwise.
he should fight some bum first, then go after someone older: Holyfield, Grant, even Valuev is a good option.

Golota was something else back in the day. Call me crazy, but I thought he would be some kind of white Larry Holmes. Dude had a crazy good jab, powerful punches, however he lacked heart (brains?) to take full advantage of his talents.

His efforts against Byrd and Ruiz were certainly admirable, especially considering how far past his best he was. I mean, he literally had no left hand and his jab had not been the same since the Grant fight (and even then, he was not physically the same fighter he had been 3 years earlier).

A prime Golota would have thoroughly outclassed Byrd and Ruiz.

And for the record, Golota-Byrd was still one of the most exciting heavyweight fights since the turn of the century (with only Brewster-Liakhovich being more exciting in my view).

I don't want to see Golota comeback AT ALL. But if he does come back for another fight....

    GO GOLOTA!

Golota was physically an A-level talent, but he never became an A-level fighter, largely because he succumbed to pressure and didn't have that something special on the inside that makes champions.

That said, Golota was extremely skilled!

A lot of people forget just how talented he was. He showed a great deal more skill and technique in the Bowe fights than he gets credit for.

Just watched that clip. That's an often forgotten about Golota fight, but he was still looking promising at that time and he upped his game (minus additional fouling) next time around against Bowe.
