Charr is okay.....he stopped "What the Heck" Beck and he stopped Danny Williams......but then again most boxers whose name isn't Mcdermott seems to be able to stop Danny these days.;)

I watched Charr just a few weeks ago stop Marcelo Luiz Nascimento and he looked workman like patiently waiting for Nascimento to punch himself out before letting his own punches go......it was an efficient if not spectacular win.

Charr doesn't belong in a ring with a Klitschko......but then again neither does Mormeck!

Charr could be a big test for the likes of Fury though.

Maybe he doesnt deserve it but its nice to see a contender who wants to take on the Klitschkos and wants to make a splash

Yes there is that......or of course Charr might be in it for the payday.......and is scared that the Klitschkos may retire before he gets a chance to get a big fat check.....bearing in mind it would be a big fight in Germany given that both boxers are German based.

better than a guy like Povetkin whose camp makes it seem like they wont fight Wlad at all or unless he stumbles

anybody who calls Wlad out now while he still looks great has earned my respect

I agree I think Povetkin's team should me more willing to step into the fire with the Klitschkos especially as they already had 2 chances.........Atlas knows Povetkin isn't ready to beat the Klitschkos.......but by that token the K bros may have retired before Atlas thinks Povetkin is ready.

I guess if the K bros are giving people like Mormeck, Sosnowski a crack then they could do worse than accepting a fight with "Diamond Boy" Charr.

Charr (born in Lebanon and fighting for Syria) is still unknown in Germany. In 2006, Charr and the Brother of Abraham had been arrested in relation to a stabbing, but the court decided that they were acting in self defence.

That was the first and coeval last case Charr was widely known for in Germany.

Beyond that he never was a serious alternative for his promoter (SE, later UBP). He always seemed to be a guy of the second row (his amateur background is rather meaningless; he was a kickboxer with ~20 bouts as far as i know...).
