Excellent, thoroughly enjoyed that. Not sure if enjoyed is the right word but it was very good.

Really enjoyed that, very touching. No mention of Lisa taking him back to America against doctors advice though:think

Interesting to see Barry McGuigan's comments about Jim Watt's post fight comments about McClellan quitting on one knee ..

I wonder if they ever bring it up back stage on Sky ?

Was a good watch, shame there wasn't much talk about G-mans treatment after the fight in hospital as well as the stories about what went on with his sister wanting to get him on the next Flight home

That was a tough watch but a very well made documentary.

What an idiot Gerald's trainer is :patsch.

As sad as that was to watch the tales of McClellan taping labrador's mouths shut and letting his pitbulls kill them was enough to dull any emotion i felt.

the steroid accusations are just bitterness on that ******* trainers behalf... also watching the idiot more concerned with his "trademark hat" during a pad session was enough to tell anybody he was a ****ing joke.

I think the entire programme was about trying to attribute blame ultimately and I think in a roundabout was was essentially trying to land it at Stan Johnsons feet. Which is probably most true.

Still was a fascinating doc nice to see some of the old footage. Was watching in HD and looked like it could have been filmed yesterday.

Im disgusted at Mclellans trainer and the steroid accusations are absolutely ridiculous. Good documentary and hindsight is a great thing. Scary stuff to watch being a boxer myself and this is a real tradegy.

the guy training mcclellan, stan johnson, he was clueless in geralds corner on the night, and seems like he's still the same now.
has the last 15 or so years, not educated him in the slightest?

Exactly - although he pretty much does the job himself. Don't need any fancy editing trickery with Johnson. Just point the camera at him and let him say his big, dumb piece.
