Ibragimov is gonna outbox mitchell!!! Hopefully a great fight!!

Timur is a hand-picked opponent for Mitchell. Timur is old now and hasn't fought in over a year. He's not a big puncher.

He was never a world-class heavyweight like the other Ibragimov, Sultan.

That being said, he does have some decent boxing skills and he's never been stopped. He's good enough to give Mitchell a bit of a test.

My prediction is a TKO win for Mitchell.

 

Mitchell's ability to take a punch, and his capacity to fight energetically after the fifth round, are question marks. It's also known that Mitchell makes many mistakes, such as dropping his hands when he punches. If you watch his films closely, you'll see that he freezes when he hit, and he is lost when he has to fight off of his backfoot.

Mitchell could be exposed against Ibragimov. I'm leaning towards Ibragimov by decision or late round stoppage. A robbery decision in favor of Mitchell is a possibility too.

 

Mitchell is so untested, I would concerned that he punches himself out and Ibragimov takes him out with jabs. I could see this fight going like Lemieux's with Rubio. Mitchell comes out and knocks Ibragimov around the ring for a couple rounds and gases then panics and gets stopped.

GB should've stepped him up for a fight like this, he hasn't fought anyone of Ibragimov's ability yet which is sad given this is an HBO fight. If he wins this fight, get him a fight with David Rodriguez or Travis Walker next.
