    does jones outslick jake all night long or does jake grind him down take him into deep waters and walk out with the win?

    i see jones moving like srr avoiding the charging bull but with jake cutting off the ring occasionally and getting some good body head shots. gruelling attrition fight.

    This is effectively 168lbs Lamotta against a 170lb Robinson as that's what Jones and Lamotta likely weigh in the ring. So I'd take Jones by mid round stoppage, he's a better puncher than Nardico and Murphy who managed the same

    lamotta destroyed murphy in their rematch he claimed he was too fat and the second time they fought i believe he was at 168 a good weight for jake. he was way past it when he fought nardico. i think jake could edge a win with his workrate.

    Jones has some very dominant moments but in a war of attrition over 15, Jake finishes all over him. Very close decision i must admit either way, i'll go with Jake on strength of a late knockdown.

    those are 3 of the top 4 middleweights of all time (pick your order). i love jones as much as anyone on here but he destroys none of them and it'd be tough to see him beating them, any of them, before he peaked at 168
