What is the reason for some people's dislike of the Klitschkos?

    No, it reads "

    rapists, braggarts and crackheads"

I must have hurt your feelings when I implied crackheads are not good people.

    Sorry, Uncle Roger.

Ohhhhhh. So that is the case. Thanks for clearing that up Joe. I think that The K brothers are great people to be honest. True champions of the HW division. I also believe that Vitali beat lewis, and lewis bitched his way out of a rematch. Wlad's losses arent really legit in my opinion either. They definitely shouldnt blemish his record. I mean the Klischkos beat every contender in this great era of HW boxing. That is a true statement of their greatness. Cant wait to see Wlad/Vitali vs Dimitrenko. That would be a war!

Vitali's loss to Byrd is legit, although unlucky. Wlad's losses are legit as well. He failed to pace himself in the first, and in the second he didn't prepare properly for a left-handed puncher.

But the Klitschko haters focus far too much on those losses, and discredit all their wins over good fighters.

Listen man, If you didn't notice, I was just messing with you all along. All jokes aside, I think they are great fighters whom I respect.

I personally think that this is the main reason.

It's like your brother gets a new Ferrari but he only does the speed limit at all times. It's frustrating to see them hold back.

    Here's the thing:

    1. American Exposure has been very limited. Germany may have a big boxing scene but America is the center of the world when it comes to boxing. Not only do they not fight here but they also fight at times which are inconsistent with what we are used to getting.

They should have made a bigger effort making waves in the US market. They have a compelling story. But the more exposure they get the better.

    2. They hold back more than than they need to. Wlad has the ability to go out and totally destroy alot of opponents but chooses not to. Vitaly with his stamina, durability, and power could easily fight more aggressively and put away these guys.

    3. Nice Guys finish last, unless they have a super aggressive style or a reputation for brawling.

    Bland personalities don't sell.
However, exciting styles can overcompensate for a bland personality.
Defensive styles can be box office anathema; but a colorful persona can make all the difference.

Can't be the reason. That fight wasn't as bad as Haye-Valuev, yet some of the most vicious Klitschko haters are Diva Haye fanboys.

Its how people are. There is a lot of hate in the world; and 100x as much on the internet. Personally, I dont understand why one would **** on fighters of Klitschko's/Mayweathers/Pacquiao's/Cotto's calibre. But people do. Its stupid, and pointless. To be honest, I think they dont appreciate the sport of boxing enough if they truly berate some of these fighters. But what can you do? Just think what you think, and don't mind the haters. They will always be there.

By the way, for anyone who thinks the dislike is about nationality, look at guys like Pacquiao. For those who think it's because they're from the Eastern Bloc, look at guys like Fedor in MMA. For anyone who thinks it's because they're white....get a ****ing clue.

I don't think "dislike" is the right word though. It's purely apathy and apathy stems from boredom. When the Klitschkos start providing entertainment, they'll be loved, end of.

Envy. Haters secretly wish they were like them: rich, educated and white.
