What is the reason for some people's dislike of the Klitschkos?

Because losers hate succesful people

 

I don't see where the option on the poll is for 'I like them, but their fans are stupid and therefore great fun to wind up'.

I like Wlad, he seems like a cool and funny guy. Vitali i'm ambivalent towards - but I always tune in to their fights, as I'm a boxing fan.

I think there is an apathy towards them amongst casual fans that stems from a perceived lack of excitement in their fights. When I have watched their fights with friends they've been left frustrated that these huge guys take so long to finish severely overmatched opponents, especially Wlad.

Amusing to see how many times race has been cited as a reason by insecure fanboys.

 

I appreciate their boxing and actually like and respect them. Both highly educated and overall cool individuals. Wlad seems like a genuinely nice guy, Vitali is definitely the rougher of the two, but he seems amiable enough.

I think they just are at the top of THE weakest heavyweight division ever and sometimes don't do enough (Wlad more than Vitali) to show just how dominant they should be.

Those haters are children, "It is so funny to make Klithuggers angry haha", does a grown up man give a reasoning like this? They hate the fans so they must hate the fighter, which is much worse than nuthugging in my opinion.
I mean there are max. 10 Klitschko fans here who always exaggerate, but this shall be the reason for hating the whole division? ("Klitschkos suck, they only win because the opposition sucks, too")

It is also the media's fault, they have so much power that people without an own opinion, and there are too many of them, would agree with everything they say.
Even when it was not true that Vitali is the worst champ ever, or that Wlad is just a bum, so many in the USA and UK believed it all, this hurt the Klitschkos reputation the most.

The reality is that most haters are just egoists who envy the Klitschkos for their absolute reign and envy the fans who have always supported them.

 

Wlad getting poisoned in the Brewster fight. Blaming green faced men. Grainy stills as evidence in Lewis fight. "Won the event"

 

They fight way too cautious carrying inferior opponents into the later rounds for more RTL ad money when they could easily blow them out of the water in a few rounds.

It hardly makes for exciting TV

 

I think you might be taking this stuff a little too seriously. Do you know that it's possible to like someone, but still have a laugh at their expense?

 

Maybe it applies to you, many others mean it seriously and thats when things get ugly on here.

 

because they could basically win all their fights with by KO in under 6 but make us sit through the slow, boring, methodical breakdown of fighters they are superior to in almost every way

 

shaun if your trying to tell me there isnt racial hate for the klits then im gona tell you black people where never slaves..behave ffs..the rest of your post i can agree with tho.some klit fans rip the arse out of it and theres nothing wrong with winding them up..there are some guys on this forum who take the winding up to far.and there are just some haters who like to hate for reasons that have nothing to do with boxing and its obvious in there posts

saying they take long to take out opponents dosnt mean you hate someone..haters are the idiots who run about saying how bad the klits are and they dont have skills and only have height ect ect..if you dont like a fighters style then big whoop you can still know they have great skill and that they are good boxers...just because someone takes a few rounds longer to ko someone dosnt mean they cant box and therefore should be hated as much as some of the guys on this forum hate them....

Many different reasons I've seen here.

Fist of all there are too many trolls on this site, from wich some deadly obvious and others more subtle that mingle in with the real haters as a cover. (some of them are actually funny, some just annoying)

But a lot has to do with their dominance and not being from one of the (previously) major heavyweight countries.

The boring part is mostly an excuse to hide the real truth, cause most Americans adore Ali and most Brits adore Haye and buy most of his excuses... Wich of course doesn't add up.
There are some that really bring the race issue into it wich is pathetic of course, and some that just hate them because they beat "their" guys without breaking a sweat and without taking risks.
