Whats confusing as ****? That Puerto Rico is a country? As in an independant nation of its own right?
Its a country. I know it is cause i once aked my teacher cause I was not sure. I cant give you the explanation cause i didnt understand very well.
Ok, the anthem booing may have been a bit out of place. 1) It wasn't the first nor it will be the last time something like this happens at a sporting event, specially when there is bad blood between the fans already. It seems you (TS) forgot all the **** Margarito spoke about Puertoricans and how he disrespected all of us, then again you gotta take it as part of the game, ala Hopkins throwing our flag and stepping on it (on our own turf). 2)As for the low class ppl around you— I've been in the other end way TOO MANY times, last time probably at a "MANÁ" concert in Florida where the ghetto mexicans just above us were yelling expletives all the time and throwing their stinking shirts to the crowd as if they were the main attraction.... Obviously they wouldn't let us enjoy the concert but obviously these kind of things happen and are expected up to certain extent in these kind of events. 3) As for the language thing, what can I say, it's a caribbean thing I guess. Dominicans and cubans also speak without the s' and r's all the time but for some reason you mexicans only realize it when it's a puertorican doing it (yep, I also dated a mexican for about 2 yrs a while ago and when I visited Mexico with her they gave me hell about that insignificance up to the point that I didn't feel welcome over there in the D. F.) 4) last but not least, whenever you want to open a can of whoop ass and if u r close to Florida, or PR, let me know, I will more than gladly love to tell you in my so "broken spanish" how I feel about mexican sore loosers like you!!!! Freddy u there anywhere?? This guy, the TS, sounded just like you!!
Puerto Rico is not a country. It is not a sovereign nation. It has been a commonwealth of the United States of America since 1898, The Spanish-American War. Before that it was a Spanish colony since the 1500's. IF you are born on the island of Puerto Rico, you are an AMERICAN citizen. Now I can understand your teacher saying that. Most Puerto Ricans are a proud people and would like to think that, but it simply is not true. Puerto Rico has seats in the House of Representatives. It has voted several times on becoming the 51st state. So no, Puerto Rico is not an independent country. Just like Guam.
Ohh, another thing I forgot, r u serious when u say u got bothered by the fact the puertoricans were not into Rios vs Murray fight?? Are u unfu**ing insane?? So what if they only went to see Cotto vs ghetto Margarito?? Grow up!! OR have a life, whatever applies... maybe both... or u can always visit a shrink and fill him in about all your crying and big boy rants. Meanwhile go to Taco Bell and get a bean burrillo, no get two.. Now, go!!!
I just thought it was hilarious Margarito wore corn-rows. We all know Mexicans don't do that ****...lmao...dude was tryin to play the crowd.
