    Id say he exited at an appropriate time

    he lost in a way where he felt robbed

    he knew Leonard would never give him a rematch

    he had been shafted by the boxing world numerous times the Antufeurmo draw, got pelted after beating Minter for the title and never got his due

    i feel for the guy

    The SRL fight was a stupid fight to take that late in career. Bigger, ring, bigger gloves, 12 rounds. HAGLER knew he had to agree to those terms. 12 million big reasons to. I thought Hagler won. Most of SRL punches were hitting Marvin's shoulders and gloves.

    You are completely ******ed. He outboxed Leonard easily and they robbed him of his title. The Italian mafia was running his career and paid two judges to score the fight for Leonard. They then took control of the younger and more famous Leonard and paid Hagler tons of money to move to Italy and live the good life.

    Hagler is the p4p GOAT. He beat every fighter he faced, ducking no one. Who else can say that? Marciano, but HW is easier than MW.

    No. He was a complete fighter who had to work harder than his peers to get recognition.

    He retired at the right time because he was past his best.
